Your Enneagram Test Results

This page shows your Enneagram quiz results: your main type, your likely wing and your top three types, with scores out of 100.

How do I read my Enneagram results?

Your main type

Your main type is the one whose statements you agreed with most. The Enneagram says each type is driven by one core motivation, so read your type page and ask whether that motivation sounds like you across your whole life, not just today.

Your wing

The types on either side of yours on the circle are your possible wings. The one that scored higher is your likely wing, written like 4w5. If both scored the same, neither wing stands out.

Your top three

Many people score high on two or three types. Your second and third types can still describe real parts of you. If two scores are close, read both pages and see which core motivation fits better.

Stress and growth

The lines inside the Enneagram symbol link each type to two others. The idea is that under stress a type may pick up the harder habits of one, and in growth the best qualities of the other. Treat this as a prompt for reflection, not a rule.

What this quiz is, and is not

This is a self-reflection quiz with statements we wrote ourselves. The Enneagram is not a scientifically validated measure, so your result is a starting point for thinking, not a fact about you. It is not a diagnosis and should never be used to judge or select people.

Questions about your Enneagram results

What does my main Enneagram type mean?

It is the type whose statements you agreed with most. It points to the core motivation that sounds most like you: what you want most and what you try hardest to avoid. Read your type page and see whether it fits.

What is my wing?

Your wing is whichever of the two types next to yours on the circle scored higher. A 4 with a stronger 5 is written 4w5. A wing adds flavor to your main type; it does not replace it.

Why are two of my types so close?

Some people agree with the statements of two or three types almost equally. That is common, and it is useful to know. Read each type page and ask which core motivation feels most true over your whole life, not just this week.

Are these scores percentiles?

No. Each score shows where your answers to that type’s nine statements fell on a 0 to 100 scale. A 70 does not mean you beat 70 percent of people.

Is the Enneagram scientific?

Not in the way the Big Five is. The Enneagram is a popular tool for self-reflection, but it is not a scientifically validated measure, and this quiz is not a diagnosis. For a scientifically tested profile, take our Big Five personality test.

Do you see my answers?

No. The quiz is scored in your browser. Your result is saved only on your device, and your share link holds only your nine scores, never your answers or your name.
